From flame-broiled shrimp skewered on fresh-cut sugar cane to the 1/3-pound plantation grove burger with Kauai grass-fed beef, The Grove Café at Aston Waimea Plantation Cottages on Kauai is launching a fresh twist on locally sourced Hawaii cuisine with new pupu (appetizer), lunch and dinner menus.
The Grove Café’s new menus feature an expanded selection of pupu including island-spiced fried calamari, kalua pork nachos and Chinese dim sum; as well as a variety of made-to-order sandwiches conveniently served with sides such as Hawaii taro chips; and dinner entrees of prime rib, filet mignon, or the fresh seafood catch of the day served with fresh island vegetables and salad.
The menu also offers local favorites such as beef stew, Portuguese bean soup, chicken katsu and shoyu chicken. Guests can top off their meal with a selection of delectable desserts including plantation lime pie, campfire coconut bread pudding and their signature banana cream galette Waimea. View Menu (PDF)
The Grove Café, located at the entrance to the award-winning Aston Waimea Plantation Cottages, is an inviting plantation-style restaurant perfectly suited for family dining, or simply sitting back, grabbing a refreshing beverage, and listening to live Hawaiian music. Pull up a seat at the spacious bar area and enjoy a selection of award-winning island brewed beer from Kauai, Maui and the Big Island, as well as signature cocktails.
The Grove Café is a great location to have an event or gathering. Relax and let The Grove Café help you secure the space and plan the menu. Their versatile chefs and efficient professional staff have many years of experience serving banquets for Rotary clubs, tour groups, retreats and corporate meetings. The Grove Café’s Banquet Room can accommodate up to 80 people and also has WiFi Internet access. The beautiful grounds of the Aston Waimea Plantation Cottages add ambience to a banquet, wedding or meeting.
