Kauai: Where to Stay

We stayed at the Islander on the beach and had the one bedroom suite. I booked this reservation online sight unseen and what a pleasant surprise. The suite was above the lobby facing the Ocean and the pool and what a view that was. There was not only the refrig, microwave, and coffee maker, but a sink and a stove top which was nice for the mornings when we wanted to sit on the lanai and eat a leisure breakfast and enjoy the view. Also the suite came with reserved parking! What a great extra. The place is well built as we never heard the coming and going of other guest. I would definitely recommend this hotel, hope to go back in the near future.

just came back from a week stay at he Islander On The Beach and it was a great place to stay. We had an ocean front room and the views were awesome. Very intimate hotel, with great grounds and staff. There are no resturants on the property, but some good eating places in the Cocanut Market. This property is in the center of everything, for sightseeing.My only complant is the pillows were not comfortable. I would stay here again.
