Big Island: Where to Stay

We had a group of 16 stay at the Waikoloa Colony Villas in April 2006. Spectacular! ResortQuest did a great job to ensure out entire group was nearby. Planning a return stay in October 2007. Will not look anywhere else on the island.

01/23/06 Loved it! Was booked three nights here and three at nearby Hilton Waikoloa. After checking into the Villas, canceled Hilton reservations and stayed six days at Villas. No reason to leave the pool unless you just HAVE to go to the beach. Nearby King Shops has semi-pricey restaurants, but reasonable fare also. Beautiful views of golf courses, volcano and water. Incredible value and real nice folks.

Wow! What a wonderful setting...beaautiful, well kept amenities. Peaceful and very luxurius. Would recommend a stay to all friends and family! Staff friendly and accomodating too!

My wife and I stayed at the Waikoloa Colony Villas during 10/03 in a 2 Bedroom villa. They are brand new and there were only 10 units occupied when we were there. It felt like the resort belonged to us. You had to drive to the beach at the Outrigger Waikoloa Marriott or take a pretty long walk. The pools at the resort were excellent. Right on the golf course, so you could either play or watch. Excellent value for the money. The Waikoloa area is the best place to stay on the Big Island. We will come back and visit again.

This hotel is definantly a place to stay at if you are visiting Kona. it is simply paradise and is only a couple blocks away from a marketplace! VISIT IT!

The Waikoloa Colony Villas are a beautiful property. We stayed in a 3 bdrm/2.5 bath that was right on the golf course with awesome views in every direction. The villa had all the comforts of home and great tropical decor. We could walk to shops, the beach, 2 golf courses and restaurants. The pool area with jacuzzi was really pretty and relaxing. We even used the work out room. We can't wait to go back again!!
