Review from Vicki YatesMy husband and I along with our two daughters just got back. I must say I loved this resort. It's nothing fancy but great location and for the price you can't beat it. The staff was great and so nice. My 10 year old loved all of the pool toys that they had to borrow.
It's close to the beach. And the pool is beautiful. My favorite part was Sunday morning waking up to the sounds of the choir at the church next door.
This is truely a great resort and we will be staying there again.
Thank you Maui LU |

Review from Jane AllenMy husband and I stayed at the Maui Lu for 3 nights. We had been at an elegant "resort" on business 2 days prior and were ready to get into a smaller property. The Maui Lu was magical. The ocean view room/lanai gave us breathtaking sunsets and an unspoiled view of the ocean. The private cove was about 30 yards from our room unlike many hotels that you have to walk for 1/2 mile to get to the ocean. We shopped at a local market our last day and the staff delivered a barbque grill for our use (near the ocean!) on our last night. We had a wonderful grilled steak/potato dinner as the sun went down. We will stay at the Maui Lu for our next trip. The hotel grounds were lovely. Parking was easy and we were a short drive to places to snorkel, shop and eat out. Can't say enough about the "feel" of this property. Small, no man made waterfalls, but huge in natural Hawaiin beauty! Thank you Maui Lu! |

Review from Bill & Linda MillerWe spent two weeks in Hawaii celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary in October, 2004. This was our second trip to Hawaii. We celebrated our 25th anniversary in Hawaii also. We cannot say enough of great things about the Maui Lu! The week before we left, I came very close to changing our reservations here because I wasn't sure I wanted to stay on that end of the island. We were so thankful I didn't! It is such a peaceful, serene, beautiful place! Loved having the ocean outside our door with a view of Mokini, being able to spread our towels in the grass outside our sliding glass door to sun ourselves. And least we forget the beautiful sunsets!
It certainly beats the tourist area of Lahiana and Kaanapali.
The grounds were impeccable. The staff was outstanding! Great hotel for the price! Hope to see you for our 40th instead of waiting another 10 years, maybe even sooner! Maui Lu Resort is the magic of Maui! Mahalo:)

Review from Steven HulseyWe booked a package deal in December 2003 thru Pleasant Hawaiian Holiday for a week in Oahu and a week in Maui. I use to live in Hawaii many years ago on Molokai and have been to all the islands staying at moderate to luxury properties. This was my first time staying at the Maui Lu, which was recommended to me by Di Thomson, a travel agent at AAA of Southern Calif.
in Burbank who had stayed their before. I can only say what a wonderful hotel, great staff, and beautiful grounds, a five star property in my book. I work in the movie & t.v. industry, and since I've gotten back here in Calif.,
the Maui Lu is all Italk about to all my friends and whomever I meet as the place to go in Hawaii.
Keep up the great "Aloha
Spirit", and as a phrase used here I will be back. |

Review from Melissa & Rick JohnsonWe stayed at the Maui Lu almost two years ago and we can't stop talking about it. It may not be the fanciest place in the world, but it is the best. Our stay was magical! The staff was amazing, they even brought a gas grill down to our greens area to use!
It was wonderful being able to hear the waves crash against the shore each evening and morning. We are coming back to Maui next year and will be at the Maui Lu again!

Review from K ChapmanThe Maui Lu was so awesome I had the Loft accommodations and let me tell you it was the greatest. We were there during the Whale season and it was by far the best time to be there.. This is an Island Girl from Oahu so I know what I am talking about when it comes to hospitality and the Aloha spirt! they get a 5 star rating from this local girl :) |

Review from Carol DeManOn our 2oth wedding anniversary, we booked a Hawaii vacation. Just by the picture of the Maui Lu, we felt that this resort had the look of the peaceful vacation that we were looking for. My husand did not want a condo or high-rise hotel. We were extremely pleased withthe whole resort. The food was wonderful, the room(ocean view) was splendid and the staff extrememly helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we went back on our 24th wedding anniversay and this time took along another couple (it was their first visit to Hawaii). Again, everything was wonderful. We are now approaching our 29th wedding anniversay and would like to go back to Hawaii and the Maui Lu in the next two years. The Maui Lu will always be my choice when vacationing in Hawaii. |

Review from Marc WarnerI visited three islands and
stayed at many of the very best hotels. Nothing compared
to the beauty and hospitality
of the Maui Lu. This hotel is
something very unique and genuine in today's world.
