Winter Roots Fest Warms up Kauai at the Aston Aloha Beach Hotel
HONOLULU, HI (December 27, 2012) – FIJI and Irie Love will headline the Winter Roots Fest concert at the Aston Aloha Beach Hotel’s Kuhio Lounge in Kapaa, Kauai on Friday, January 18, 2013, at 9 p.m. Revival and Ka Ha O Na Opio will also join them to light up the night.
FIJI is a Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning artist known for his songwriting talents and unique sound – a soulful blend of reggae, hip hop, R&B and jazz. Co-headlining the concert is a queen in the local reggae and R&B genre, Irie Love. Born and raised in Kailua, Oahu, Love started as a Brown Bags to Stardom state finalist which she carried over into a successful music career.
