Aston Hotels & Resorts Honored with Two Gold Adrian Awards from HSMAI
HONOLULU, HI (December 13, 2012) – The scores are in and Aston Hotels & Resorts is the recipient of two Gold Adrian Awards from Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). Aston received the awards for its “One Million HawaiianMiles Sweepstakes” promotional campaign and Property Reference Guide for travel professionals. The Adrian Awards will be formally presented at an upcoming black tie gala in New York City on January 28, 2013.
"It is an honor to be recognized by such a prestigious global organization," said Shari Chang, senior vice president, sales, marketing and revenue management for Aston Hotels & Resorts. "To achieve two Adrian Awards within an international competition makes us all immensely proud of the Aston organization and our extensive marketing efforts."
HSMAI's global Adrian Awards annually recognize excellence in hotel, travel & tourism marketing, web design and public relations. The competition attracts more than 1,000 entries internationally. The Adrian Awards, at times referred to as the Oscars of the hospitality industry, are the most prestigious of their kind within the multi-billion dollar global industry. Gold Adrian Award winners become finalists for HSMAI's Platinum Adrian Awards and the coveted "Best of Show" award announced at the New York gala.
Aston’s One Million HawaiianMiles Sweepstakes asked consumers, “Where would you go with a million HawaiianMiles?” Aston then awarded 100,000 HawaiianMiles to 10 lucky grand prize winners redeemable for travel anywhere Hawaiian Airlines flies. The promotion was promoted extensively through print ads, eMarketing initiatives, as well as Aston’s social media outlets and targeted frequent travelers to Hawaii and HawaiianMiles members.
Aston’s Property Reference Guide for travel professionals is an easy to use, fully comprehensive tool that includes detailed information on Aston Hotels & Resorts and its 27 hotels and condominium resorts in Hawaii, Lake Las Vegas and South Lake Tahoe. The guide was built through valuable feedback from travel agents and is updated annually to ensure the information is up-to-date. The useful guide has also been translated into Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
