Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas Debuts Maui’s Newest Meeting Space
HONOLULU, HI (May 2, 2011) – Maui’s newest meeting space is wrapped in one of the Island’s most popular resorts, the Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas. The resort’s recent $1.6 million renovation project included a complete rejuvenation of the lobby area as well as the addition of a brand new function space ideal for small corporate meetings, intimate destination weddings and special events. This new space celebrates the allure of Kaanapali; a quiet haven set amidst an exceptional beach locale with a staff that is ready to accommodate the needs of any group, from C-Level executives, to the “getting Mauied” wedding party.
The 46 x 30 foot Honu Room radiates the warmth of a private-estate great room with a scenic garden view. Theater style seating can accommodate up to 60 guests. The room opens onto the 32 x 24 foot Honu Lanai, which opens onto the resort’s 11 acres of tropical gardens. Banquet seating on the lanai can accommodate 20 and a walk around reception for 35 guests. Beyond the lanai, the Honu Gardens is the perfect tropical garden setting for wedding, receptions or cocktail parties comfortable for 100 to 150 guests.
The Honu Lanai and the smaller Ohina Conference Room are separated by a fully functional Pantry room, perfect for service staff and event preparation. The Ohina Conference Room is suited to a gathering of 16 to 25 guests. The room is equipped with executive boardroom tables and seating, a 60-inch HD Samsung TV and DVD and wireless access for laptops. The resort can coordinate other audio visual upon request.
